Junior Progress Awards

Junior Progress Awards

Outdoor Shooting

Due the success of the BB300 Awards in the indoor season, we have decided to continue the incentives by adopting Archery GB Progress Awards for the outdoor season.

Looking at the Archery GB Progress Awards it is somewhat vast in the options that you can be shot to gain the awards. Basically you can shoot 20 yards and gain White, Black, Blue, Red badges which doesn't exactly encourage our Junior members to step up the distances. Therefore the club has decided to select the scores and distances available to shoot in order to achieve the Archery GB Progress Awards.

Each round consists of 36 arrows in ends of 6 arrows, with a maximum of 12 sighters at the beginning of the round. In order to achieve a badge you need to score the required score for your age group as detailed below.

You will need to complete an official score sheet, and you will need to get another archer to score your round as you can't complete your own scores. At the end of your round the score sheet needs to be signed by you and the scorer and then handed to the records officer.
