Role of Treasurer – Responsible for all the clubs finances. Works in conjunction with the Chairman and Secretary to set fees and proposed expenditure levels. Maintains accurate accounts (the accounting structure already exists on a set of spreadsheeets). Manages and monitors expenditure and income, provides regular reports to the management committee, manages the club’s bank accounts, PayPal account and incoming cash. Ensure cash in banked quickly while keeping a small cash reserve. Prepares end of year accounts for external auditing, with full tracking for all income and expenditure.
